Driftshell Frames by Shellbelle

All Driftshell Frames are 9x9-inches and hold a 4x6-inch photo. They average 2.5 pounds each. They can sit on a shelf or be hung on a wall.
My frames are painted white in a distressed, beachy style, similar to a shabby chic technique; they are painted and sanded, often revealing a bit of the frame underneath.
All are made with driftshells picked up by yours truly and my bff Karen on the beaches of the Gulf Coast of Florida. Those are my favorite "work" days! Prices are based on the shells contained on each frame. They range from $39 to $49, the more rare the pieces, the higher the price. When I find a shell like the large driftshell on the first frame, I get so excited — to me this is a perfect driftshell and a real treasure. You'll notice that some frames have tiny bits of shells in between the driftshells; we shellers call these "shell crush" and they are at the last stage before they become sand.
Each frame is unique, but each one will remind you of days spent at the shore. I hope you enjoy my artistic interpretation of one of the many things I love about the beach!
