I am sooo sorry about your fall. I definitely can identify with you. A few months back I fell down our stairs and sprained my ankle badly. It HURT and I felt so stupid for letting such a thing happen. Thankfully it wasn't worse that it was. Hope you will be on the mend soon.

You have not had a good week my friend. You need some homemade chicken noodle soup, a hot toddy, a good book and a comfy quilt. I am sending you a cyber hug, altho it won't help much, but its the thought that counts. Please get your foot checked out. I cracked a bone in my foot several years ago and never went to the dr. and to this day it bothers me. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh my girl, I'm glad you are feeling better! I've had that happen, stand up on an ankle that is fast asleep and have it crumple right out from underneath you...ouch! I hope you are going to at least get it checked out if it's not 100% better very soon! You may still have done something to it. I walked around on a broken foot for over a week once! Feel better!

Oh no! I've actually had a couple of friends break their ankles doing exactly this. I guess we could say you are lucky, but I'm sure you must be getting restless. I don't know about you, but I don't hold still very well!

Definitely no shelling for you! Big ouch! From one klutz to another I feel for you honey! Remember being able to bounce back from something like that when you were younger? It's hell to get old! I've used an office chair as a makeshift wheelchair many times. Between the lupus thing, and being a klutz, I've so been there.

I hope you are well on the mend, and will be back to doing everything you love real soon!

Stay off your foot and let it heal. I know, for you, that's a very difficult thing to do, but unless you allow it to heal, you won't be able to search for your shells...driftwood...etc. (Does that encourage you to be good?)

Oh my! I concede, your weekend was worse than mine! Although it is not a laughing matter, I had to chuckle though when I read how you utilized the chair. A few years ago when I fell in my kitchen that is how my boys helped me get up and to the couch. I thought it was pretty darn clever!

Keep off that foot until the swelling is gone and get plenty of rest! I will keep you in my prayers.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this. I would be just beside myself with frustration. Very glad this happened when you were staying with your daughter though, instead of living on your own. I hope it gets better soon and you may want to get it checked out if not. Cause if it's fractured you really will want one of those boots. They aren't pretty but atleast you'll be more mobile. Take care my friend!
