Rhonda - Sending you a giant hug. I am sorry for your loss. What a remarkable man your uncle was to have built a dining hall to share it with the people he cared about. I can imagine the love and laughter and ribbing that went on in that room.

Shellebelle, you aren't going to believe this. I didn't know your cousin but I do know his son...sort of. I know him through his ex-wife A.(I guess the divorce is final). I know their boys & just worked with them in Bible School last week. I taught A. in
2nd grade & she graduated with my son. I've known her parents (divorced) for years & years and go to church with them. Your cousin's death was announced in our church bulletin & that's how I realized who you wrote about. I am so sorry for your loss...he sounds like a wonderful person. Hope you had a good trip to south GA, although the heat here has been unbearable.

I am so terribly sorry, Rhonda. He seemed like a wonderful man and the kind of person who makes life happier for others. God broke the mold when he made these old timers. I adore his log cabin. What a neat place and how special that he will get to rest across the road.
