I turned off the hose and headed right over. Since I was their first customer of the day, I had first choice. Here's what I packed in the car for only…
50 cents a piece!
Since it was early in the morning and I had not had any coffee yet, I missed out on the deal of the day. The ladies had an 8-foot rattan shelf in perfect condition. It would have been perfect on my front porch with my rattan chairs, but I never could have fit it in my car. For 50 cents, I should have bought it and put it in my friends garage and figured out how to get it to Georgia later. Oh well, my loss, someone else's gain.
The day before I had hit another sale in the neighborhood and walked away with these bargains:
These three nestled baskets came to me for only $2.00.
I have developed a passion for Pfaltzgraff dishes after receiving a set in a giveaway from Cindy @ Applestone Cottage. When I saw this brand new in the box set at another garage sale, I quickly snapped service for four up for only $5.00!
This Garden Sunrise set is part of Pfaltzgraff's everyday collection. I love the bright, summery colors.
I'm linking with Linda @ Coastal Charm for Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays to show off my bargains. Be sure to stop by to see all the other goodies that were found this week!

Great score especially the price of the dish set.
Great deals! The dishes are very pretty.
That would have been a sight heading north on 95 - Your little Yaris with the shelf strapped to the top. Don't forget the red flags. As always, great finds.

Wow...you got very lucky! Love the dishes and the baskets, it has been so hot that I can't even think about garage sales here. Ours aren't that good...mostly kids toys and clothes in our town. I love to go when I'm in Florida...so many household things.
Arg!!! I am so jealous! What great deals you got, especially those dishes! Arg!!
Oh My! I am in love with that dish set too! Those colors are fabulous! They will look great with a summery tablescape as well as a fall type scape by adding some deeper oranges with the setting! I love the nestled baskets and your fruit picture. I have never heard of a .50cents yardsale. I sure wish there were more! Great deals!
Great finds!!!!! That was a huge score:)
Girl you scored. What treasure you found. I adore St. Mary's, such a lovely little fishing village as they say. SEa Witch
Hi Rhonda
I loved seeing your amazing garage sale finds. They all look great. We don't have garage sales over here and I am always envious when I hear about them in blogland. We have car boot sales where people sell their stuff from the boot/trunk of their cars. They are fun but I don't get to go often. I love what you did with the pictures, in one of your previous posts, where you put star fish covering the hooks. I have enjoyed catching up with your blog today. I always enjoy hearing about what's going on with you. I am excited that we may be able to meet up next year. That would be great.

Oh, my, you have a great eye for bargains!
I know long gone are the days of 10 cents or a quarter. I can't find those kinds of yard sales anymore and when I do they are few and far between.
Love the egg plate and baskets.
I'm loving the vases!!!
Hope you don't mind that I used one of your fabulous ocean photos as a header this week!

I miss garage sales... the chance to browse in them, and the chance to get rid of some of my stuff! Don't exist in Spain... My sister says in England they're called "boot sales" (as in out of the car boot aka trunk for us yanks!) :p

Great finds and who can beat 50 cents a piece. This is my first time to your blog and I find it so relaxing. Love the recipes and you make me wish I was at the beach. Not a lot of beaches up here in Ohio.
