A Happy Day at The Tiki Hut!

KS @ While We're Waiting recently passed on an award to me. Now she knows I don't accept awards; back at the beginning of the year she left this comment, "I might just pass one on to you so I can include a link to your blog on mine so others can come and find you... since I think you're fabulous!"

Now how sweet is that? Kristen, a young, smart, witty, funny and caring blogger thinks I'm fabulous? She's the one who is fabulous! Her blog makes me smile and laugh, her love for all people comes shining through in every post. She, along with other college students, held a bake sale to raise money for the victims of Haiti. I could go on and on about this lovely young woman, but the last line of her profile sums up why I adore her so, "…and I try to do something every day to make someone else happy." And the cupcakes, of course, she loves cupcakes and they pop up in her posts frequently. The award she passed on to me included these tasty little confections.

Thanks Kristen, you made me so happy on this and every other day we share in blogland! Kristen knows that the reason I don't accept awards is because my time is so limited, especially now that I'm getting ready for the BIG move, that I can't follow the rules or pass them on to others, so I have no pressure accepting this wonderful award. Thanks Kristen, I think you're a doll!

BUT guess what? I am passing on this award to my favorite follower. Now you know I love you all and I think each and everyone of you deserves this award. You all make me happy and I enjoy visiting all of you, but there is someone who is so super special and the cutest blogger in blogland that I just have to let him know this by passing the Happy 101 Award on to him. Yes, this handsome young man is Oliver, son of Bunny @ The Paris House Designs and he's just 4-years-old.  Actually his blog header reads, "I'm Oliver and I am 4 years old in a haf om most 5 years old and my blog is good and i love my blog. Each day I will share fun toys and ideas that I love an with you!!"

Bunny (Michele) and I have been blogging friends for quite some time now. Her love for her husband and their three sons just shines through her blog. Let me tell you that this gal knows how to entertain and you just have to see the 200-year-old historic stone and clapboard house in the country they call home.
