Last Tuesday I posted some really cute Florida Christmas cards made with vintage postcards and today I thought I would share even more vintage Christmas postcards, because I can just never get enough vintage!
Let's start with these from my own
State of Florida!
State of Florida!

The following are all from the early 1900s and were just to sweet to not share with you. Sit back, relax, have another cup of coffee and enjoy Christmas greetings from another era.

Were these not simply delightful? I know that it's cold for most of you this time of year and if you prefer the sunshine like I do, just follow the advice given in this last card!

This is going to be an exciting week at The Hut, I have a special visitor coming today! Many of you know her and have watched her travels around blogland and for those who don't be sure to check back on Thursday and meet my new friend. I'm so excited!
Tomorrow I'll be posting the photos of my seashell tree that was inspired by Maya over @ Completely Coastal. If you haven't entered her Outer Banks Giveaway yet, be sure to click on the button in my sidebar. Tomorrow is the last day to enter, what are you waiting for? And while you're in my sidebar, you can also enter the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway over at While We're Waiting. If you haven't met KS yet, trust me, you're going to love her blog and this giveaway!
That's it for today! Hope you're enjoying the weather wherever you are and whatever you doing!

I just adore the Florida greeting cards! I guess I long for the warm weather and the warm sea!
Thanks for the mention, Rhonda!!
I like to contemplate snow, but I like the warm! ;-) I do, however, like traditional decorations like sleds and sleighs and snowmen and things!
Love the cards...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I always love your vintage cards, my mom has a lot of these and I love looking at them. Hmmm...tough decision over the snow and sunshine. When I am in CA I love the ocean and sun, but I miss the snow. Good thing I get to visit it!
Oh, I will always choose picking oranges over throwing snowballs! Daddy moved us to northern Indiana from Mississippi when he was transferred and I thought I was going to die the first winter! I moved back where the sun was warm as soon as I was able lol. I love all of your vintage cards, they really bring a smile to my face. And I can't wait to see your sea shell tree and see what your little visitor gets up to! Kathy
I love these vintage Florida cards! They're so neat! The snow is very pretty but I'd take the Florida sunshine any day! Thank you for your comments about my dog. -Jennifer :)
I just love these postcards.....
I love the cards. We left home this morning and it was 20 degrees. After 11 hours of gray, cold and rain...we worked our way up to 62 degrees and still ugly. Tomorrow however, will be a different day entirely. I expect to see sunshine with my palm trees!

I love all the vintage cards, each one is so charming. My favorite is the little girl in her pj's holding all the toys and candy. The smile on her face is so sweet.
Hello Rhonda
I came over from my friend Sheila's blog today and really enjoyed my visit to your 'hut' and 'beach'.
I love the vintage cards you shared. They are gorgeous. I would prefer winter/Christmas in the Florida sunshine any day. I am so jealous of your visitor. I hope she's behaving herself!
Best Wishes from England.

These are wonderful and fun. Thanks for sharing them..
I get so excited when I see inexpensive vintage cards at flea markets. I don't spot cheaper ones often but when I do I snap them up. The ones in your post are lovely!! I scanned some old ones from my town and made them into note cards, too. That way I can hold on to the original but still share with others. Technology is a good thing. :-)
