Vintage Beach - Babies and Seashells c.1876

For today's vintage post I'm going to do something a little different. This last week has been a deadline for me and I until I upload to the printer tomorrow night, I have little time to breathe. Monday's are my personal favorite postings, because I love vintage photos so much. Not wanting to miss having my fun, I decided to share these illustrations of babies and seashells that I found online at the New York Public Library, they are dated as sometime between 1876 and 1890. I think they are just adorable, what do you think?

I've been working on a vintage beach posting that all you fashionistas out there will just love, so be sure to stop by next Monday for something special.

I've missed visiting your blogs and will be stopping in later this week to see all I've missed! Til then, have fun and think beachy thoughts!

These are FAB too... love the first one! I stole the FIRST one in your last flower post... soooo beautiful!!!

I love the beach and everything that goes with it! I love the waves lapping at my feet. I love the feel of the sand between my toes. I love the roar of the Pacific and the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Let's talk about beaches around the world, bonfires, building sandcastles, swaying palm trees, flamingos, clambakes, sunrises and sunsets. If it's tropical, it fits this blog!
